Recipe of the week: Superfood goji balls
These super healthy superfood balls make the perfect healthy snack. They take about 10 minutes to make, and because they are made from 100% whole foods and packed with nutrition, you don’t need many to feel satisfied. They are great for kids and adults, and ideal for school or work.
What you’ll need:
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup oatmeal
2 fresh dates, finely chopped
Handful goji berries
1 tsp bee pollen
1 tsp maca powder
2 tsp cacao powder
1 tsp cacao nibs
1 tsp sultanas (soaked overnight to soften them up)
¼ cup maple syrup
**Makes 10 balls
What to do:
1. Combine all ingredients well in a mixing bowl.
2. Use your hands to form the mixture into balls.
3. Transfer to the refrigerator to set.
4. Enjoy your healthy, delicious snack!
